This yoga class is designed specifically for children ages 6 - 11 to help them:


  • Manage stress: Learn effective breathing techniques and relaxation practices to calm your teen's mind.

  • Improve flexibility and strength: Build a strong and flexible body through a variety of yoga poses and sequences.

  • Boost focus and concentration: Energize your mind and improve your ability to focus.

  • Connect with yourself: Explore mindfulness practices to develop self-awareness and inner peace.

Is your child an athlete? Yoga offers a unique blend of physical and mental benefits that can significantly enhance a young athlete's performance.

  • Improved Flexibility: Yoga poses, or asanas, stretch muscles and increase range of motion, leading to greater flexibility. This enhanced flexibility can prevent injuries and improve athletic performance.

  • Increased Strength: Many yoga poses require strength, particularly in the core muscles. Regular yoga practice can help build strength and stability, which are essential for any sport.

  • Enhanced Balance and Coordination: Yoga poses challenge balance and coordination, leading to improved agility and better body control.

  • Better Body Awareness: Yoga encourages mindfulness of the body, helping athletes understand how their bodies move and respond to different movements.

No experience necessary! All levels are welcome. Let's embark on a journey of self-discovery and well-being together.

This 90 minute workshop will be centered around December's New Moon. The class starts with breathwork followed by a slow flow to warm up the muscles and joints in preparation for longer held restorative poses and deep stretches. Explore the somatic sense of self through deeper awareness of the body on a physical and spiritual level. We believe that motion is lotion for the body and this class is great for anyone wanting to improve flexibility and elasticity by diving deep into the fascial tissue.

After we get the muscles all stretched out we will begin to activate the Parasympathetic Nervous System by settling into a Guided Meditation followed by a Soundbath.

All levels are welcome. Warm studio heated to about 85º.

Please bring a mat, a sweat towel, water & optional journal to reflect.
