This yoga class is designed specifically for children ages 6 - 11 to help them:


  • Manage stress: Learn effective breathing techniques and relaxation practices to calm your teen's mind.

  • Improve flexibility and strength: Build a strong and flexible body through a variety of yoga poses and sequences.

  • Boost focus and concentration: Energize your mind and improve your ability to focus.

  • Connect with yourself: Explore mindfulness practices to develop self-awareness and inner peace.

Is your child an athlete? Yoga offers a unique blend of physical and mental benefits that can significantly enhance a young athlete's performance.

  • Improved Flexibility: Yoga poses, or asanas, stretch muscles and increase range of motion, leading to greater flexibility. This enhanced flexibility can prevent injuries and improve athletic performance.

  • Increased Strength: Many yoga poses require strength, particularly in the core muscles. Regular yoga practice can help build strength and stability, which are essential for any sport.

  • Enhanced Balance and Coordination: Yoga poses challenge balance and coordination, leading to improved agility and better body control.

  • Better Body Awareness: Yoga encourages mindfulness of the body, helping athletes understand how their bodies move and respond to different movements.

  • Enhanced Mental Toughness: By practicing yoga, athletes can learn to manage emotions, overcome challenges, and maintain a positive mindset.

No experience necessary! All levels are welcome. Let's embark on a journey of self-discovery and well-being together.

RESTORE AND REIKI WORKSHOP

Experience a relaxing and supportive yoga experience that will help your nervous system find a new sense of calm and reset. This practice will use restorative poses using bolsters and blankets, so dress comfortably. Optional reiki session during the yoga practice.

What will this include? *5-6 restorative poses using props (bolsters and blankets) to support the body and facilitate a calmer state within your nervous system. *Guided Meditation*Mini reiki for those that would like to receive it

Common Question: What is the difference between restorative and Yin? Restorative is about using mindfulness to calm your nervous system and relax your body. Yin is the practice to stretch and engage connective tissues in a more active movement.

YIN/YANG YOGA : POP - UP CLASS

A High-Energy Dance Party & Zen Yoga Fusion. Get ready to groove and glow with the perfect escape from the daily grind! This dynamic class blends the best of both worlds: heart-pumping dance fitness and calming yoga. You'll learn easy-to-follow choreography, shaking your booty to world rhythms that'll leave you energized and exhilarated. Then, in the second half of this class you'll wind down with flowing stretches, strengthening balance poses and deep breaths, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. It's the perfect way to let loose, have fun, and recharge your mind and body.

ME AND MY SHADOW

This class is a fun and playful way for care takers and their little ones to connect and move their bodies together.
The class will start with a warm-up, followed by a series of gentle yoga poses that are modified for both adults and babies. The poses will be held for short periods of time, and there will be plenty of time for breaks and giggles.
The class will also include some simple breathing exercises and relaxation techniques that caretakers and children can do together.

This class is open for ages 0-5, caretaker and child.

Please bring one mat & water.


DEEP STRETCH RESET

WORKSHOP

This 90 minute workshop will be centered around December's New Moon. The class starts with breathwork followed by a slow flow to warm up the muscles and joints in preparation for longer held restorative poses and deep stretches. Explore the somatic sense of self through deeper awareness of the body on a physical and spiritual level. We believe that motion is lotion for the body and this class is great for anyone wanting to improve flexibility and elasticity by diving deep into the fascial tissue.

After we get the muscles all stretched out we will begin to activate the Parasympathetic Nervous System by settling into a Guided Meditation followed by a Soundbath.

All levels are welcome. Warm studio heated to about 85º.

Please bring a mat, a sweat towel, water & optional journal to reflect.
